Are you a Ute?

Here is one of the funniest things that has ever happened to me!

As you can see, during our vacation we stopped at Four Corners. I had never been there, and it was a short stop, but a lot of fun.

Well, behind the girls you can see that there is a row of booths where the Navajo sell trinkets, pottery and jewlery. Behind one of the tables, there was a man standing there and he was wearing a University of Utah sweatshirt. Since I work at the U, I got a little excited-thinking that he went to school there. I said to him, "Oh! Are you a Ute?"

He looked at me and said, "No! Navajo!"

After I quit laughing, I explained that I meant his sweatshirt, and he said a bit sheepishly, "Oh, I am a fan."
